Education

Bachelors in Development Studies, Advanced Diploma in Business Administration – Human Resource Management option, and Diploma in Community Project planning and Management

Activities

In the past, I volunteered for Family planning Association of Kenya; now Family Health Options Kenya. I founded Smart Ladies Youth Initiative that empowers girls and young women through sports after realization that girls were rarely partaking in the activities. I worked for Tuungane Project of Impact Research and Development Organization, and coordinated girls and young women activities in the 6 Districts. I worked for Safe Water AIDS Project with women groups in the 2 slums of Kisumu. I have trained coaches in basic coaching skills and sports for Development through Football Kenya Federation as a trained football instructor. I have participated in consultative forums for ASRH at the county and Nationally, and sports networks.

Experience

I together with Smart Ladies Youth Initiative hosted the National Danish Gymnastics Performance team in Kisumu twice. More than 5 girls I have mentored are pursuing their careers both in sports and modeling abroad and many are doing so locally. I sat in the Family Health Options Kenya National board as a Vice Chair person, and now as a National Executive Member.

Above all, I love to see progressive transformation in anything I lay my hands on together with whom I work with or for, for a positive social change and Development.
